The Gun Club has recently purchased a modern .22 Rifle (Open Sight) for use by members. Please contact The Gun Club reception for using this Rifle on the 50-meter ranges. We have plenty of ammunition available, and hence are encouraging members to try out their hand at target shooting on the .22 Ranges.

Matches are fired from either the prone position, or all of the standard positions. The standard positions are prone standing, and kneeling.

Yes, indeed it is The Gun Club that we are talking about, not the Coca-cabana Beach in Rio, or the beaches of Southern California!

We have a very goo sand volleyball court next to the children's play area, and recently a group of enthusiasts have set up a Volleyball League. They play twice a week, in the late evenings, under lights, so as to avoid the heat. Please contact the Slim Gym reception if you are interesting in joining.

Beach volleyball is very much like regular volleyball, but the ball is softer, has a lower internal pressure, and is slightly bigger than the normal volleyball.

The Air Weapons Competition for Pistol and Rifle was held on 23rd May at the 10-Meter Indoor Range.

Skeet shooting enthusiasts, both experienced as well as beginners are invited to a friendly shooting match on Sunday the 4th of July, from 5 pm onwards. Even if you are a novice shot, come and enjoy the company and improve your accuracy.

High tea will be served after the event. Bring along the entire family and enjoy the event. At last month's event, we had quite a few members turn up, and an informal rankings table was created.

The outdoor swimming pool has a protective fencing around it to give maximum privacy. The pool is open and inviting so hope to see you all there during the holidays!

Sultan Fateh Ali Khan of the Patiala Gharana enthralled the attendees of Ghazal Night on May 8th.

It was a graceful evening set in the ambience of a beautifully decorated Club lawn.  This provided the audience with a wonderful chance to relax and enjoy the cool Spring air as they listened to their favorite ghazals from a master in the field.

The night is in line with our efforts to hold a musical evening regularly.  A scrumptious dinner accompanies the festivities and gives a chance for members and their guests to mingle in a comforting atmosphere.

We hope to see more of you in the future and are always open to your suggestions to make these nights more delightful each time.

With summer holidays already here, this is a good time to take advantage of the sports training facilities that The Club has put together for children.

We have arranged 4 x Trainers for Rifle and Pistol Shooting, and a Taekwondo instructor, as well as coaches for Tennis and Swimming, so that children can participate in all four sports throughout the summer.

American & Continental Breakfast is available every morning from  8-10am at the Club Dining Hall for Gun Club members ,and the Health Bar for Slim Gym Members.

We are adding a new kitchen which will allow members to be served with their choice of burgers, sandwiches and even pakoras and samosas sitting by the outside pool, in the back lawn or by the volleyball court!  We hope to have the summer evenings fun for all and its an ideal opportunity for the entire family to come and relax.

The Club has been in need of a proper bakery facility for its members hence we now have Masoom's at the Gun Club opening this month.  Located in the purpose built room next to the Slim Gym, Masoom's at the  GunClub premises to be a happening new addition to the Club. A serene setting, away from the hustle bustle of urban living, will provide a warm and welcoming environment to sit and have a coffee or a fresh juice or cool down after a work out with a smoothie. 

With a tempting lineup of treats, Masoom's at the GunClub will leave you addicted. A delectable array of cakes awaits you, the most scrumptious of which include the cheesecakes, the mouth-watering mousse, and the hot fudge with an ice cream of your choice! And of course you can now have a 'Death by Chocolate' any time you want. There is something for everyone to satisfy your sweet-tooth!

For those of you who prefer savory food, Masoom's at the GunClub will also have its savory bakery specialties to offer.

With everything said and done, this is the perfect corner of Isloo to hide out in the summer months with hot chocolate, exotic coffees, freezing ice cream, good friends and brownies!

Since this is only for members the Club is also providing discounted prices of all products compared to any public Masoom’s  outlet.

We plan to open for business in the 2nd week of June so keep a look out!
